Purity

The target peptide's share of the peptidic components in a sample, usually measured by RP-HPLC. High purity says nothing about the peptide content of the weighed material.

In the lab

Values from 95 to over 99% are common for research peptides. The purity needed depends on the experiment; higher values make sense for sensitive assays.
