DAC (drug affinity complex)
A group of lysine and maleimidopropionic acid that binds covalently to albumin. It distinguishes CJC-1295 with DAC from the version without.
In the lab
The extra group raises the molecular mass considerably. The calculated mass on the certificate of analysis must therefore match the DAC version.
